Beau's Pet Hotel Frequently Asked Questions

Is vaccination required?
Yes. Dogs require a C5 vaccination; Cats a F3 vaccination. We recommend they receive this one month before checking in and no less than 14 days prior to check in. Full vaccination requirements can be found in clause 4 of our Terms and Conditions.

Can we bring our own food, our dog is on a specific diet?
Yes and in fact this is preferred as often quick changes in diet can cause stomach upsets in your beloved pets. All food will need to be individually packaged and labelled for every meal.

Is food included in the price? 
Yes, we provide dry food only, your pets are fed twice daily unless specified otherwise by you.

What brand of Food do you use?
Advance, which is a premium food and is also used to feed our precious Guide Dogs and puppies.

Is there a discount for long term boarders?
As our profits go back to Guide Dogs SA/NT, we do not have any discounts for long term boarders at this stage.

How big is the attached outdoor private courtyard? 
3m x 2.5m

How big is the central bark play area? 
Approximately 550sqm and each other outdoor play yard is 160sqm.

Will it be noisy for my pet being near the airport?
We are noise proofed. You can’t hear the planes inside and they aren’t very noticeable when in the outdoor runs.

Can I visit my pet during their stay?
Rest assured they will be having a great time. It won’t be possible to pop in and say hello during their stay as it would be too disruptive to your pet to say hello and leave again. If you are missing your pet you can arrange a Skype call. If you want to know how they are going you are welcome to phone our staff and they will be more than happy to chat with you and send through some photos of your pet’s holiday at Beau’s.

Can I get my dog groomed at Beau’s or does our dog need to be staying there?
Our Grooming Stylists can groom and pamper your dog in our dayspa and they don’t need to be boarding. Bookings 8115 6080.

I am taking a morning flight and would like to drop my dog off on the way to the airport. Can I check them in during the morning?
We offer flexible check in and check out appointment times. Generally, these are available between 8 - 11am and 3 - 6pm Monday to Sunday. Appointments are subject to availability and confimed at the time of booking.

Is there staff on site 24x7?

The safety of our pets is of utmost priority for us here at Beau’s Pet Hotel. We have motion sensors and 24x7 CCTV that Beau's Management have access to anytime, anywhere.Also, completely fresh air is filtered through the building regularly, and water is automatically refreshed to ensure all pets have access to clean fresh water at all times. Are only dogs staying in the premier suites able to utilise the Central Bark area?  
Central Bark is available to all dogs staying in our premier or deluxe suites during peak times. And during low peak times it will be available to all of our pooch guests.

What days can my dog attend DayCare and how much does it cost? 
DayCare is open from 7:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday, we offer casual rates and 5, 10 and 20 day packages, all costs can be found here.

What are the Dimensions of Suites? 
Classic: Comfortable 1.3 x 2.7m
Deluxe: Spacious 3 metre x 3 metre internal suites
Premier: Spacious 2.5 metre x 2.5 metre internal suites inside and out
Cat Loft Condo: 610 x 937mm
Cat Penthouse Condo: 900 x 937mm

I have two dogs can they share accommodation and will that be at a reduced price?
Yes. Dogs that live together can stay together and the most suitable suite/s for your dogs will depend on their size. You can jump onto our website and press the ‘Get Quote/Book Now’ button to get an estimate of your pets' stay. You can update the suite options to get different quotes.

I have two cats can they share accommodation and will that be at a reduced price?
Yes. Cats that live together and are from the same social group can stay together in a Penthouse Condo. Cats who live together often tolerate each other but are not in the same social group. You will know if your cat is in the same social group as they will sleep together and groom each other, if your cats don’t do this then you will need to book them into separate condos so they can enjoy their own space but are able to be socialised together in the amazing cat atrium. When the door is shut on the cat condo is there good airflow?
Yes absolutely. Each condo has fresh air constantly flowing though the internal vents and out through the gap around the tempered glass fronts.

Are the cats allowed to play outside their condos?
For sure!  Our cat atrium is amazing with a huge 75” t.v., water wall and pond for those cats that love playing with water. Toys galore, cat climbing wall with hidey holes, scratching pads and plenty more to keep them happy. They can either chill out in the atrium by themselves or with other family cats that are compatible. And of course they’ll get lots of smooches and cuddles during the day!
