You will know if your cat is in the same social group as they will sleep together and groom each other, if your cats don’t do this then you will need to book them into separate condos so they can enjoy their own space but are able to be socialised together in the amazing cat atrium. Click here to book or get an estimate of your cat's stay.

All dogs will be temperament tested on their first DayCare visit, which allows us to see your dog’s suitability and the types of dogs they would get along with. This is a behavioural test with our trained staff to ensure the safest environment for your pet whilst they are in DayCare.
DayCare will not allow restricted breeds, which include:
American Pit Bull Terrier
Japanese Tosa
Fila Brasileiro
Dogo Argentino
Perro de Presa Canario
Shar Pei, Akita, and giant breeds are also unable to attend our DayCare program.
The restriction of these breeds has been implemented to comply with standards set by the Pet Industry Association of Australia (PIAA) and the Australian Government.
Along with restricted breeds, any dogs that do not pass the temperament test will not be permitted into DayCare. Dogs who fail the temperament test may still be allowed into our DayStay program.
We offer a variety of playgroups to cater to the many personalities, sizes, and energy levels we find in DayCare. Temperament testing allows us to find the best-suited environment(s) for your pet to have the greatest experience.
Yes.
Depending on size, activity levels, and temperament testing a dog may be suited for multiple DayCare groups. Temperament testing will allow us to find every environment your dog will enjoy in our DayCare program.
Absolutely!
When booking your DayCare just let us know you are interested in a groom and our staff will endeavour to find a suitable appointment time. Grooming prices can be found here.
DayCare involves a day full of socialising with similar dogs. Our program also includes opportunity for rest time in a private quiet kennel before heading back to play with all their new friends. DayStay is designed for dogs that prefer not to interact with other dogs. DayStay includes a private dedicated kennel for your dog to relax along with time allocated for multiple breaks and play time with our staff in our outdoor play yards.
Yes.
Dogs require a C5 vaccination. Full vaccination requirements can be found in Clause 7 of our Terms and Conditions.
All dogs that attend DayCare are required to be desexed under the Dog and Cat Management Act.
Puppies under six months are allowed in DayCare if they are not yet desexed and they are not in season.
Our Daycare staff are trained to notice any potentially aggressive behaviours. Immediate action will be taken, which may include removal from DayCare and further discussion with the dog's owner.
We ask that if your pet has shown any signs of illness they not be brought into DayCare. Trained staff monitor each DayCare pen closely and will take any necessary actions if any illness or injury were to occur. You or your emergency contact will immediately be notified if any instances occur.
Toys are not allowed in DayCare. They can often trigger territorial behaviours. DayCare provides time for your dog to interact with staff and other dogs.
Food is not included in DayCare. Eating a meal during high activity can be harmful to adult dogs. Sometimes puppies require midday meals, so your pup will be given lunch if provided during their resting time. We ensure puppies have enough rest time before and after their meal to digest before heading back out to play.
We accept Cash, Electronic Funds Transfer, Visa & Mastercard.
We recommend getting your puppy used to being groomed as soon as possible after they are 18 weeks of age. Grooming can be quite an overwhelming experience for puppies – the more they're exposed to the environment, the better acclimatised they will be!
Even if they don't require a full clip, booking them in early for washes, dries & tidy-ups will help them ease into the grooming experience.
We recommend they come in two weeks after their last set of vaccinations. During their first visit, your puppy will be introduced in a relaxed and fun way to the sights, sounds and smells of our Grooming Salon, ensuring all visits are stress-free.
Yes!
Your dog must have had C5 vaccination which includes Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Bordetella.
There is no rushing your dog’s fur-cut here! We understand that grooming can be overwhelming for some pups, so we take our time to make sure your dog leaves with their tail wagging, as well as looking and smelling great.
The time taken will depend on the condition and length of your dog's fur. Our Grooming Stylist will advise you on the time you should pick up your pooch when having a chat with you about your pooch’s pampering session with us.
No!
We cater for all breeds. We love having the opportunity to bring out the style and character of all pups, whether they are a pure-breed or have a more colourful heritage. We cater to the unique personality of each and every dog. From young puppies to the most senior dogs, big or small, scruffy or sleek, all dogs are welcome and will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our Grooming Salon.
We cater to the unique character of each and every dog, enabling us to groom young puppies to the most senior dog, as they are able to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. However, older, disabled, and ill pets may require special treatment during their pampering session.
If your pooch has a medical condition, please let our Customer Service team aware so our Grooming Stylists can make arrangements that may be needed for us to groom your dog.
It is best to drop off your pooch at their scheduled appointment time and then come back when the groom is finished. Grooming is already a very difficult task, adding any distractions during this process is not safe for your pooch or for our Grooming Stylist.
The length and type of your pet's coat will determine how often your pet needs to be groomed. Our Grooming Stylist will have a chat with you to recommend when you should book your pooch's next appointment.
We strongly recommend they have a chance to relieve themselves before coming to our facility. They may want to have a meal beforehand, but keep in mind if your pet is nervous, they might do better with an empty stomach.
At Beau's, we have indoor and outdoor yards, so your pup can run around, play and have a break from the grooming session. This provides an enjoyable grooming experience for your best friend.
Your dog(s) may have had a bad grooming experience elsewhere and now do not want or enjoy being groomed. Through patience, the right equipment, and time we are confident we can make grooming an enjoyable experience for all dogs. For those that are particularly traumatised, we recommend a grooming program consisting of a series of shorter treatments where washing and drying are undertaken at one session, nail clipping and ear cleaning at another, hair clipping at another, etc.
Our Grooming Stylist would be happy to discuss a treatment schedule with you if your pet requires this program. It is very rare to find an ungroomable dog, but if we encounter any serious problems during the treatment, we will discuss them with you to agree on a solution together.
We offer a chargeable DayCare service in case you are unable to collect your pooch after their grooming session. Learn more about Beau's DayCare and DayStay here.
We recommend you make a booking for any of our grooming services as we cannot guarantee we would be able to fit your dog in without a booking.
Please keep in mind that your pooch's C5 vaccination needs to be up-to-date, even for nail clipping.
Before your pooch’s appointment, our Grooming Stylist will have a chat with you to understand your requirements and preferences. Please feel free to bring a photo of the type of furcut you would like. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the service received, please advise our Customer Service team within two business days so we can do our best to rectify it.
We take great pride in our grooming services and want you and your pooch to be happy with the result.
You must notify Beau's Pet Hotel within 7 days of the appointment date. This will give us time to try to accommodate your pup's appointment for another day.
Our price is based on breed, hair length and the condition of your dog’s fur and skin. Check our Grooming Price List here.

A mat - We find it makes training easier if your puppy is familiar with their own mat
Favourite treats
A lead and harness/collar for your puppy
Copy of their first vaccination (If you have not provided one through email prior to class)
To ensure a focused training environment for all participants, we kindly request that a maximum of two people accompany your dog at Puppy School. This helps to minimise distractions for dogs and their owners, allowing everyone to fully engage in the sessions. If for any reason you require a third person to attend, please contact us directly.
If you find your puppy is more motivated with a toy rather than food you are welcome to bring something along. We will provide a source of enrichment for each puppy during class while we're going through information (e.g. a Kong, pig ear or something to help distract them).
We try to provide some off-leash playtime for each puppy, however, we will do this at our discretion to ensure none of the puppies feel overwhelmed. We will match playgroups based on temperaments to ensure everyone has a fair amount of time to socialise safely.
If you do not want your puppy to come off-leash, please let us know as we are happy to accommodate your request.
The cost for Beau's Puppy School is $160. All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are directed back to Guide Dogs SA/NT, so when you book your pup for Puppy School or any other Beau’s service, you are helping to provide more services to South Australians living with disability.

If you advise us at least 7 days before the first class, we will arrange the refund for you. If you do not provide at least 7 days’ notice, a cancellation fee will apply.

Absolutely! We will hold your puppy's certificate and gift bag for the next 4 weeks after the graduation day.
Beau’s Pet Hotel free pass for full-day daycare is not transferable.
Once your puppy has had all 3x of their initial vaccinations they will be suitable to join us in daycare. Your dog will be temperament tested on the first daycare visit, which allows us to see your dog’s suitability as well as the types of dogs they would get along with. This is a behavioural test with our trained staff to ensure the safest environment for your dog whilst in Daycare with us.
Participating in our program will provide you and your dog with a positive co-learning experience. Our primary objective is to equip you with the necessary skills to interpret and understand canine behaviour. Through this understanding, you will foster a positive bond with your dog while simultaneously teaching them obedience.
Dogs need to be 18 weeks old or older to participate in the program. There is no maximum age limit for training.
It is not a requirement for your dog to have completed Puppy School to attend Level 1 Training. We aim to cater for dogs at various stages of their training journey; our classes are aimed to accommodate dogs and owners with different levels of training experience.
To ensure a focused training environment for all participants, we kindly request that a maximum of two people accompany your dog at Level 1 Training. This helps to minimise distractions for dogs and their owners, allowing everyone to fully engage in the sessions. If for any reason you require a third person to attend, please contact us directly.
You are able to bring two dogs to our classes. Each dog needs to be enrolled separately and accompanied by their own dedicated human handler. This ensures that each dog receives individual attention and guidance throughout the training sessions.
The first week will be an introductory week where we run through content and the program outline, so you will only need to bring yourself. You do not need to bring your dog to the first class. Other items you may want to bring for your dog over the course will be a mat, their favourite treats, a lead and a collar and/or harness.
If you find your dog is more motivated with a toy rather than food, you're more than welcome to bring a toy along.
During Level 1 Training sessions we prioritise the safety of all participants, which is why we do not include off-lead playtime sessions. As we may not be fully aware of the background and behaviour of each dog, we prefer to focus on confidence-building exercises instead. These exercises involve allowing each dog to navigate through a variety of play equipment, promoting their physical and mental stimulation in a controlled and secure environment. This approach allows for positive and safe experiences for all dogs in the training program.
At Beau's, our primary objective is to employ positive reinforcement techniques in conjunction with force-free training methods. This is to prioritise your dog's well-being and to facilitate the development of trust between you and your furry companion.
To ensure the safety of all dogs attending our Level 1 classes, it is mandatory for all dogs to be fully vaccinated. This requirement serves to protect not only your own dog but also the well-being of other dogs present in the class and those under the care of Beau’s.
If your dog is reactive towards other dogs or people, or if it displays on-leash reactivity, we strongly advise against attending a class. This type of environment is unsuitable for a reactive dog and is highly likely to amplify their stress levels.
If your dog is experiencing difficulties in adapting to a class setting, we may be able to provide you with an alternative training opportunity that is better suited to their needs.
The classes will be conducted indoors, ensuring that they are not affected by the weather.
Level 1 Training will be indoors at Beau’s Pet Hotel - 1 Navaid Rd, Adelaide Airport SA 5950.
The classes will be conducted once a week for a duration of one hour (6:15pm-7:15pm or 7:30pm-8:30pm), spanning over a period of seven weeks.
Your dog will be temperament tested on the first DayCare visit, which allows us to see your dog’s suitability as well as the types of dogs they would get along with. This is a behavioural test with our trained staff to ensure the safest environment for your dog whilst in DayCare with us.
Absolutely! We will hold your dog’s certificate and report card for four weeks after graduation day.
Beau’s Pet Hotel free pass for full-day daycare is not transferable.
We accept cash and EFTPOS. We will call you one week prior to class starting to process the payment and secure your dog's spot in class. If you wish to pay cash on the night, please let us know.
If you advise us at least 7 days before the first class, we will arrange the refund for you. If you do not provide at least 7 days’ notice, a cancellation fee will apply.
If you are unwell, you must not attend Beau’s Level 1 Training. Please notify us as soon as possible and we will enrol you in the next class if it is safe to do so.
